The 20, 30 and 40MPH speed limits are strictly enforced.

Travelling SOUTH on M1 motorway (LOW BRIDGE 11’3")

Exit M1 at junction 38 and take first exit from roundabout sign-posted WOOLLEY.

Drive straight through Haigh village to crossroads at top of hill.

Turn right at cross roads sign-posted STAINCROSS.

Follow this road to its very end (approx. 2.2 miles) turn right sign-posted MAPPLEWELL.

Drive down the hill to the crossroads in the village and the 20mph zone and turn left.

The church is 100 yards on the right - car parking at the rear.

* Vehicles above 11ft 3in high should leave the M1 at junction 37 and take the 1st exit towards Barnsley Town Centre and follow directions below.

Travelling NORTH on M1 motorway (No Low Bridge)

Exit M1 at Junction 37 (Barnsley, Manchester, and A628) and take the 3rd exit from the roundabout sign-posted BARNSLEY.

(Large vehicles that have travelled south avoiding the low bridge and taken the first exit towards Barnsley Please follow from this point)

Get in the LEFT hand lane and follow the road to the Traffic lights.

Go Straight ahead until you reach a Round-a-Bout at the bottom of the Hill

Turn RIGHT at the Round-a-Bout taking the 4th Exit onto WESTWAY and get in the LEFT hand Lane.

Follow this road through 2 Sets of Traffic Lights until you reach the Round-a-Bout

At the Round-a-Bout go Straight on (2nd Exit) on to Harborough Hills and get in the LEFT Lane

The road will split into 3 Lanes towards the bottom of the hill. Please take the Middle Lane to the Traffic lights

Go through the Lights then follow the road through a small set of lights then get in the LEFT lane

Follow the Road. After about 1/4 of a mile the road will curve to the left onto Barnsley Road

Follow this Road. You will reach 2 sets of Traffic Lights where you need to straight on at both until you find a Mini Round-a-Bout

Take the 1st Exit of the Round-a-Bout until you reach a traffic light junction with CO-OP supermarket and New Lodge post office on the junction.

Drive straight ahead until the next set of traffic lights where you will be able to see the Eastfield Arms public house

Turn Left at these Traffics Lights on to BAR LANE.

Follow this road for a further ½ mile. As you come to a mini roundabout the 20mph zone starts.

Cross the Round-a-Bout and go Straight on (1st Exit) The church is about 200 yards on the left.

Travelling NORTH from Barnsley Town Centre (NO LOW BRIDGE)

Take the A61 road North towards WAKEFIELD.

Approximately 2 miles outside Barnsley you will encounter a traffic light junction with Pioneer supermarket and New Lodge post office on the junction.

Drive straight ahead until the next set of traffic lights with the Eastfield Arms public house

Turn Left at these Traffics Lights on to BAR LANE.

Follow this road for a further ½ mile. As you come to a mini roundabout the 20mph zone starts.

Cross the Round-a-Bout and go Straight on (1st Exit) The church is about 200 yards on the left.
